Route 9, Zion National Park

How it works

  1. Press Start

Roadlark plays through CarPlay or your car’s speakers. No signal needed.

  2. Drive as usual

Keep your GPS on and play whatever music you’d like. Roadlark knows how to share the speaker.

  3. Know what you’re seeing

Roadlark chirps up when there’s something worth sharing, and gives you space to enjoy the open road.

FAQs

Got a road trip coming up?

Get early access
Does it work with CarPlay?

Yes. Start Roadlark on your phone, and it plays through CarPlay or your car speakers.

Do I need cell service?

No. The drives come with the app, so Roadlark plays with or without signal.

Will it talk the whole way?

No. Roadlark talks when something is worth your attention, and then goes quiet until the next interesting sight or detail to point out as you drive.

Will it get in the way of my music or directions?

No. Your music dips while Roadlark talks, then comes back up. When Google Maps or Apple Maps speaks, Roadlark pauses, then picks up where it left off.

Where can I use it?

The available routes for early access are Las Vegas to Zion, Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon’s South Rim, Highway 1 through Big Sur, Salt Lake City, and Salt Lake City to Antelope Island. Going somewhere else? Tell us in the form. It helps us choose our next drives.

Our ultimate goal is for you to use Roadlark on any drive, no matter the route.

How much does it cost?

Nothing during early access, and no card needed.

Do I need an iPhone?

Yes, with iOS 17 or later. There will be an Android version as well. Sign up to be the first to know.
